Online Groups

Social connection is now more important than ever. Perhaps you feel that therapy is not really what you need right now. A support group offers a warm and accepting environment where people can share similar experiences, gain knowledge, offer tips and feel supported and inspired.

Support groups are not therapy and do not take the place of personalized treatment.

Groups can range in frequency and length from weekly to bimonthly and are very affordable.

Please contact if you would like to register or for more information.

Support Groups:

  • Brain Injury

  • Stroke

  • Pain Management

  • Caregivers

Groups may be online or in person, require an initial interview and are paid in advance at the beginning of the month. Please contact for more information.

Caregivers

Every year there is an increasing number of caregivers for various conditions. The number of caregiving tasks can be overwhelming and the toll on the emotional and social wellbeing of caregivers is well documented. Caregivers’ physical health and finances are also impacted.

In general, the goal of interventions for caregivers is to improve the health and wellbeing of the caregiver and is tailored to the specific needs of the family.

For this reason, BHR provides caregiver-focused interventions which may include psychoeducation, counseling and/or support group.
