Dr. Netto is a licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist for over 25 years and founder of Brain Health & Rehabilitation. She completed her Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She went on to complete a 2-year fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center where she specialized in Neuropsychology, Behavioral Medicine and Rehabilitation Psychology in inpatient, outpatient and rehabilitation settings.

Upon completion of her post-doctoral training, she was recruited as Adjunct Faculty for the University of Miami Medical School as Attending Neuropsychologist at Jackson Medical Center and the world-renowned Ryder Trauma Center. There, she gained extensive experience treating patients from a wide ethnic, cultural and socio-economic population, including all levels of severity. She served as supervisor for Psychology students at all levels of training and rose to Director of Outpatient Neuropsychology Services during her early career. Over the years, she has participated in numerous research projects and educational programs for interns and post-doctoral residents.  

Dr. Netto transitioned to private practice with an emphasis on quality over quantity, providing in-office, telehealth and on-location services.

Dr. Netto has worked with hundreds of patients specializing in the emotional and cognitive treatment of neurological (i.e., brain injury/concussion, stroke, dementia, attention/executive deficits, tumor, aneurysm, multiple sclerosis), psychiatric (depression, anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties) and medical conditions (i.e., cardiovascular disease, acute and chronic pain, GI problems, infertility).

In addition, Dr. Netto focuses on prevention as in the case of multiple strokes and re-injury as well as slowing the progression of cognitive decline and optimizing brain health. Her approach also emphasizes the mind-body connection, and the impact of lifestyle factors on brain health and wellbeing.

Dr. Netto strives for comprehensive, patient-centered, assessment and treatment.  Her practice provides tailored assessment, psychological treatment, coaching, cognitive retraining, education and optimizing wellbeing and functioning for adolescents, adults and seniors.

Dr. Netto is fluent in English and Spanish and has special interest in culturally sensitive assessment and treatment. She consults and supports numerous non-profit organizations in the community.
